A quiet note before you book
Most parents tell us they almost didn’t book at first.
Not because they didn’t want the photographs — but because life was busy, their child was unsure, or it didn’t feel like the perfect time.
If you’re here, it’s usually because something in you feels this stage is worth remembering.
You don’t need to rush. You don’t need to be certain.
Just gently explore the options below and choose what feels right for your family.
Two ways to begin
There are two ways families usually book a session:

For families who prefer a quieter way to begin.
Several times a year we invite families to register for a studio session at a reduced booking fee, as part of our invitation programme.
It’s designed for those who:
would love the experience
but aren’t quite ready to commit to a full booking
or simply enjoy the opportunity to be invited
The photography experience itself is exactly the same as our Premium sessions.
I also use this programme as a way to welcome new families into the studio, and to work with dancers I might not otherwise have the chance to meet.
It keeps the work creative, varied, and personal — and many families tell me it’s how their relationship with the studio began.
If selected, there is a small studio booking fee of £25, and images are chosen afterwards in the same way, once you’ve seen them at home.
Premium Studio Session
For families who would like to choose a session time directly.
These sessions take place at our Essex studio and include:
a calm, unhurried photography experience
guidance throughout the shoot
time for your child to settle and build confidence
a private online gallery to view at home afterwards
Sessions are available in:
1-hour format (£50 booking fee)
2-hour format (£95 booking fee)
Images are chosen after the session, once you’ve seen the photographs at home.
Collections begin from £395.
What happens after booking
Once your session is booked:
you’ll receive simple confirmation details
directions to the studio
and a short guide on what to expect
After the session, your images are carefully edited and shared in a private online gallery.
You’ll view them at home, in your own time, and choose what you love — without any on‑the‑day pressure.
